Superannuated in 2019 from IDBI Bank as a Deputy General Manager, after 25 years of dedicated service. He holds a Ph. D. (Economics), JNU, New Delhi with over 30 years of experience in economic research, academic administration, teaching/training and investment banking, Intellectual Property Right (IPR) and consultancy.
As an IDBI Bank's nominee, he has been independent director in the governing boards of some large companies. Dr. Keshari has also served as a Faculty member in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Banking and Finance, Hyderabad and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad; a Research Officer in National Institute of Bank Management, Pune. He is a prolific writer and has published a book on India's Engineering Exports and several research papers with econometric applications in internationally reputed journals and edited volumes of Springer and Rutledge. His expertise and current occupation includes research and consultancy in the areas of Foreign Direct Investment, intellectual property rights, firm-level competitiveness, investment banking, SME finance and financial analysis, budgeting and planning.
